A video begins to load and a gargantuan troll with a purple mohawk and a large gold bullring in his nose appears on the screen. He crosses his arms and begins to speak slowly with a deep, raspy voice and a slight stutter to his words.

Greetings to all on the Node! My name is Muut and I have a bit of a - fetish - I guess you could say - for interesting and unique weapons.
I dabble in electronics a bit and tend to invent some great - sometimes outlandish - weapons of my own. I have come up with a new polearm, a lance of sorts, that uses what I call the "Pulsar Technology".
I call this weapon the mechanized pulsar hyper-piston lance. I'll explain how the technology works.
The lance has gyros embedded in it that detect when the wielder strikes and the angle and direction they strike from. When a strike is detected by the gyros a set of nearly a dozen pistons at the halfway mark of the haft activates.
When the pistons activate, the lance "pulses" and extends, delivering a devastating impact blow that adds to the force of the wielders actual strike - this in turn makes the weapon able to pierce tough armors and deliver a strike that can... well.. basically knock foes on their ass... drek like that.
